Historic Preservation
The purchase of the Zanone House and the subsequent decision to restore it led to a major interest in Historic Preservation. We joined the Eureka Heritage Society, Melanie is on the Board of Directors, and I maintain their web site and help on many of their projects and events. Melanie, Joshua, and Ron all took the full array of classes in historic preservation at the College of the Redwoods and earned a Certificate in Historic Preservation and Restoration.
